A singer songwriter, guitarist and harmonica player from Douala, Cameroon, Muntu Valdo started writing his own music at the age of 15 and has since developed a unique style called the ‘sawa blues’, which has earned him the title of ‘prince of sawa blues’. A genuine troubadour, Muntu has travelled the world with his music, performing on stage with the likes of Ali Farka Toure, Manu Dibango and Richard Bona.
