One of the leading pianists of her generation, Jong-Gyung Park made her orchestral debut at the age of thirteen with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and has since appeared with many prestigious orchestras across the world. This exciting programme contrasts the three pieces in Debussy’s atmospheric Images Book II with Beethoven’s lyrical Sonata in F Major and Liszt’s passionate and inventive Venezia a Napoli, based on traditional tunes the composer heard while travelling in Italy.
