“Hosting a community event is very important, especially in Bradford on Avon.
Our arts festival is not only a joyous occasion, there is an abundance of talent across the arts that comes together every year to give the event its distinctive and creative edge.
September 2010 is the seventh annual arts festival, with events being held in various venues and open spaces in and around the town. This year’s theme is The BIG Splash - which we hope will go down well with everybody. Feedback from last year showed the success of the event within the community.
The festival committee is completely voluntary, with individuals coming from all walks of life within the town. The festival receives a grant from the local council and where possible other funding bodies, but it is primarily self-financing. So the town’s continued support for the event is vital.
Tickets will be available on line (and through other outlets) from Monday 2 August. The festival brochure will be available from Monday 2 August.”
This year's festival runs from Friday 17th to Sunday 26th September. The festival brochure will be available Monday 2nd August, from the Bradford on Avon Tourism Information Centre and the local library.
