TIN HARLEQUIN are now performing their first production DIFFERENT WORLDS an interactive multi senses experience throughout Wiltshire, Somerset and Devon. The show comprises a sextet of original tales.
Catch a crime fighting adventure in a busy city with Bat Boy. Admire a Fine Swan as he glides upon a river.
Rhyme all the time with Jumpjack The Rhymer. He is never lost for words! See a salty sailor pretend to be a king when he wears The Mermaid’s Crown.
Watch the wolf’s friend the Glam Fox From The Forest fix the horrible hunter. Enjoy outer space fun and games in the city of Salisbury with Star Boy.
You will hear tales and see characters created by Paul Thomas. You will see puppets made and performed by Kathy Kelly. You will hear tales read by Sophia Brumfitt. You will hear music composed and performed by Steve Porter.
We give a workshop after the show on request.
SOPHIA BRUMFITT – Vocalist
A soprano singer and scholar of Early, Medieval and Choral music.
Educated at Dartington College of Arts, Lancaster University and The Royal College of Music. Formed Rosa Mundi. Performing to sell out audiences and releasing a CD on Sophia’s indi label Maiseyday Music. Further recordings and performances with Bardos Band, Gabriel Garrido’s Elyma, Chorus of St. Martin’s in the Fields and Daughter’s Of Elvin.
STEVE PORTER – Composer & Musician
A multi talented artist creating sculptures, murals, collages and paintings for schools and community areas.
Gives workshops and invented the Bags of Art creativity kit.
Steve has released four CD’s of his own material
KATHY KELLY – Puppeteer & Puppet Maker
Gives performances and workshops that enchant, entertain and educate children.
Kathy’s unique style of puppets and delivery has taken her to, among others, The Larmer Tree festival, The British Commonwealth Museum, The Holburn Museum of Art and Glastonbury festival.
PAUL THOMAS – Writer & Director
Animator, illustrator, strip cartoonist and writer. Left the Byam Shaw School of Art and began career at legendary Bob Godfrey’s animation studio in London. Creating original animation films for BBC TV’s Take Hart, Hartbeat and Playdays.
Other clients include BBC Worldwide. Channel 4. Constable & Robinson. Kate Bush. London & Bristol Zoo’s. Burgess The Rhymer and T.Rextasy.
Paul has a weekly strip cartoon, Scratch, in the Salisbury Journal. Gives workshops and is Co-Director of Thunderwing Productions Ltd releasing four CD’s of Marc Bolan material.
