Rob has recently graduated with a BA (Hons) in Drama from Bath Spa University. As well as performing and directing within The Ruffled Umbrella Company, Rob acts as Marketing Manager and Education Officer. He also works freelance running workshop events for students and pupils with disabilities.

Directing whilst in training includes “Don’t Look at Her": a theatre research site specific piece (Bath Spa University 2009) and Disney’s “Aladdin”: the musical (Merriman Theatre Group 2007). Rob also Assistant Directed multiple shows with Keynsham Youth Theatre and Merriman Theatre Group.

Performance whilst training includes Lars Jansenn in “Dinner” (Festival d’Hiver 2009), King Wenceslas in “Ubu Roi” (Bath Spa University, Festival d’Hiver, Edinburgh Fringe 2008), an ensemble part in devised show “They Think It’s All Over” (Edinburgh Fringe 2007) in partnership with the Egg Theatre, Bath and Wellsway School, Jean Valjean in “Les Miserables: School Edition”, Judas in “Jesus Christ Superstar” (Keynsham Youth Theatre).

Rob enjoys all forms of theatre, particularly Musical Theatre and contemporary media based theatre. As well as directing and performing he enjoys working on projects within local schools and colleges. Rob is co-directing The Ruffled Umbrella Company’s current project of “The Strange Case or Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde”.
