The Diploma in Dance Teaching and Learning (Children and Young People), also known as DDTAL (CYP), is a new benchmark qualification designed by the dance industry for the dance industry.
A first of its kind for dance practitioners working with children and young people beyond formal education, it provides evidence to employers, colleagues and parents/carers that a dance artist or practitioner has the expertise to teach children and young people.
DDTAL (CYP) provides relevant and accessible continuing professional development, gained through independent study, professional guidance and/or taught courses, sitting at Level 6 of the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF).
The following organisations are now recruiting for the DDTAL (CYP) training programmes starting in Autumn 2011.
