Beyond Play is a new performance lab for professional artists to experiment and improvise through sharing skills and learning. It will be an open studio to try, test, share and learn through creative play and tasks. Participants will have the opportunity to lead and be led in the sessions, trying out different tools for generating material for contemporary live performance and gaining access to a diverse range of expertise and experience.

Beyond Play is that secret place you have been looking for to be free of rules, inhibitions and agendas. So if you want to go beyond play and develop your performance practice while connecting with others this is what you have been searching for.

Beyond Play is a CEW (Creative Ecology Wiltshire) initiative and is partnered with Salisbury Arts Centre. The sessions are free but must be booked due to limited places and participants should try to attend as many sessions as they can. It is open to all theatre, dance and performance making professionals in and beyond Wiltshire.
