<!--StartFragment-->In late 2010 the Berlin based media artist duo SpringerParker invited Adrienne to choreograph the contemporary dance opera ‘There Are Places In Our Heads One Can Travel To’. Since 2008 SpringerParker have been travelling around the region of Finnmark in a motor caravan. During several artistic explorations they’ve been observing the region, while collecting images, sounds and stories for their archives – memories that are now transformed into a Contemporary Dance Opera about the landscape, the environment and the people. ‘There Are Places In Our Heads One Can Travel To’ premiered in Kirkenes, Norway as part of the Barents Spektakel festival on the 5th February 2011 and will tour Europe and North America throughout 2011/2012.

Adrienne’s own company Neon Productions will be heading back to the studio next month to create a new stage work inspired by the novel ‘The Invention of Morel’ by Adolfo Bioy Casares. Supported by Arts Council Southwest, Dance Digital and Swindon Dance ‘The Intention’ will be created during residencies at both Swindon Dance (UK) and Dock 11’s Eden (Germany).
