Matt Carwardine-Palmer gained senior management experience at Wycombe Swan as Head of Marketing / Marketing Director (2000-2004) and at Bristol Old Vic as Head of Marketing (2004-2006) before going freelance in late 2006.
Matt’s clients range from small companies to national & international flagship organisations, as well as several development agencies. Matt has previously developed, written and advised on marketing and communications strategies for numerous arts organisations, ensuring that a clear action plan is in place for delivery.
Matt currently manages and delivers all communications activities for Orchestras Live, and has undertaken primary research projects for the British Film Institute and Shakespeare’s Globe. He has also provided interim management cover – as Head of Marketing – at several major arts venues, including Wales Millennium Centre. Matt also works with non-arts clients, including the University of Bristol Students’ Union, for whom he has recently developed a five-year marketing and communications strategy.
Matt holds a First Class BA (Hons) in Arts Management and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
