Light Sponge are a street theatre company that perform around Bath, Wiltshire, Somerset and the Southwest in festivals, events, shows, holiday locations, corporate events, weddings, and just about anywhere. They have many characters and acts, performed using an wide range of costumes, props and acting styles.

Their aim is to produce professional entertainment that will be enjoyable and comical to everyone.

OUR CHARACTERS:

Wacky Waiters, Tanya Hyde the bossiest maitre d’ in the restaurant and camp Fredrick make your dining experience a unique one. These comedy duos are perfect for catered, or table seating events.

Roger and Ken two of your great British builders, watch out as anything they touch could fall down and they will eat and drink you out of home! Someone needs to tell them if it isn’t broke don’t fix it!

Look out for a pair of oddly dressed sleepwalkers, and be prepared to give them a nudge as they may find you quite comfortable.

Also two divas, Larissa and Stella, The Hollywood Has-beens are in town, parading their brassy personalities through their fading looks and lost talent, but they will still guarantee to give you a show!

AND… The holiday makers from hell, Debbie, dressed from the 80’s ‘always right’ wife of ‘under the thumb’ husband, Keith will be bringing chaos as they try to find a spot to pitch their wind break and sun chairs to enjoy their day out!

These Characters are joining Betty and Shelly the gossipy cleaners and Edna and Gladis the nosy grannies.
