This 12 week course will explore different theatre styles and approaches to transform words on a page into a performance. It begins with participants teaming up, and selecting a short performance. The focus of the 12 weeks will then be to produce and perform these short pieces (to each other, or family and friends).

Page to stage would suite those wishing to develop an understanding of the process of putting a play on stage, from performing to creative decision making. All participants will be involved as both performer and creative.

In addition to creative planning and performance skills, this would also benefit those wanting to build skills in: team work, decision making, creative thinking and communication.

You do not need any previous drama/theatre experience, just a willingness to work as part of a group and an enthusiasm to learn new things.
