About the Project…

Assembly: Emerging Artist Forum is an innovative pilot project working in partnership with Salisbury Playhouse and Theatreworks.

The forum is a creative opportunity for a small group of emerging professional artists who come from diverse artistic disciplines to come together to form a collective.

The forum will meet fortnightly in a lab setting to explore and interrogate contemporary performance for three months between February and April 2010, the process and progress of the forum will be documented and shared with an invited audience at the end of the pilot.

Assembly brings young Arts professionals together to share their own approaches and experiences with others, the chance to explore practices offered by other members of the forum and the chance to see and discuss professional performance together.
