England’s leading drama schools are to charge £9,000 as the standard annual fee for UK and EU students for their higher education courses from 2012.
Central School of Speech and Drama, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Rose Bruford College and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance will all charge the top fee level allowed by the government from next year.
The Conservatoire for Dance and Drama will also be charging students maximum fees. The Conservatoire’s affiliated schools are Bristol Old Vic Theatre school, Central School of Ballet, Circus Space, LAMDA, London Contemporary Dance School, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance, and RADA. Schools including East 15, Drama Centre and Guildford School of Acting are also expected to charge £9,000 for their higher education courses
